LITIGATION
Courtrooms and lawsuits are often seen as the conventional hallmarks of the lawyer and a law firm. ABWW believes that litigation is frequently the least effective way of solving problems as it often leaves in the hands of others (judges or juries) the authority to render a decision. But the firm uses litigation has an essential tool in campaigns to secure relief and protection for its tribal clients; those campaigns often are wide-ranging and include public education, planned use of the public media, political and legislative approaches, and quiet but persistent negotiation. And where necessary, the firm will vigorously and intelligently represent its clients who must defend themselves in litigation. The firm has experience which is decades long in courtrooms throughout the country, tribal, federal, and state, and at all levels from trial courts through the courts of appeal and supreme courts. The firm provides thorough, careful and economical representation in all aspects of litigation.
